Deserts of Southern Utah 2008
After staring at images of Bryce Canyon, Mesa Arch. and other iconic Utah desert vistas for many years, I finally made my first trip to the American Southwest in the Spring of 2008. It was a jam-packed week of early morning photo bliss. I chose the end of March because my favourite images of Bryce Canyon were always the ones with a bit of snow, and luckily the weather cooperated perfectly. Starting in Zion National Park, I then traveled to Bryce Canyon, visiting Kodachrome Basin State Park and the Coral Pink Sand Dunes as well. Then I drove the absolutely stunning Scenic Biway 12 on my way to Moab and Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park.
